How to use
Diffuser or burner: Add 3–6 drops to water and enjoy the aroma. If using a candle burner, never allow the water bowl to run dry.
Massage: Dilute 5–6 drops in 10 ml of carrier oil before massaging gently into the skin.
Facial steam: Add 3–5 drops to a bowl of hot water. Close your eyes, cover your head loosely with a towel and enjoy the steam for up to five minutes. Keep a comfortable distance from the water to prevent burns.
Steam inhalation: Add 4–6 drops to hot water and inhale the rising vapour gently, keeping your eyes closed and your face safely away from the water.
Humidifier: Use 3–9 drops only if your humidifier is designed for essential oils. Follow the appliance manufacturer’s instructions.
The story behind the oil
Frankincense begins as aromatic resin from the Boswellia tree. Small cuts are made in the bark, allowing the sap to emerge and naturally harden into resin tears. These are collected and steam-distilled to capture the plant’s distinctive essential oil.
